Copyright laws should be renamed “middleman perpetuation laws”. If it’s desired to ‘protect creators’ **then restrict copyrights to the creators**; no more ‘assigning of rights’ to non-productive parasites.

Is this just for books published in the US, or are books published in the EU less restrictive?
