So 98% of all the Earth’s freshwater is groundwater, 2% is surface fresh water. So the Great Lakes contain about 0.4% of all the freshwater. Edit: WTF why is this getting downvoted, it’s not even opinion, it’s fucking math you asshats Edit: It was originally at -3 when I made the first edit.
