The only problem is that it doesn’t stay like this, it keeps getting worse, for the next several decades. The term “climate change” is Republican New-Speak to imply the change is cyclic. This change is the last cycle, the termination cycle. Keep on with BAU (business as usual) and the last nail in the coffin is guaranteed, being pounded right now before burying it.

It’s debatable whether a drought is a weather or climate phenomenon. They tend to go in cycles which is strong evidence that they are weather related. That being said rising temperatures will result in a warmer wetter climate rather than creating vast new deserts. In fact just the opposite is true.
