Am I the only one who’s amazed that they allowed the debate to be aired at all?

There is no war in Ba Sing Se.

Why would the Chinese want to see a US primary debate anyway?

China Goberment: We will allow the livestream of the CNN debate since we allow free speech.

CNN: *Talks about Chinese human rights abuses and the mass detentions of Muslim minorities in Xinjiang*

China Goberment: Wait, thats illegal. *Cuts the livestream*

Trump Adviser Caught On Tape: Voter Suppression Key To GOP Battleground Efforts

Cheaters and traitors the lot of ’em.

Something really needs to happen to punish the GOP.

We desperately need Election Day to be a recognized, national holiday with mandatory time away work to vote approved to every citizen in the country. Course if we had that the GOP would be in serious trouble, which is why they historically have fought any attempts to establish such a holiday. The GOP cannot stay in power playing fair and they know it.

If I were rich, I would love to go to a low rate voter state, and hire a phalanx of lawyers who specialize in election law *and* lottery law for that state.

Then I would fund a **$1M lottery prize to be randomly drawn from the rolls of voters who participated in the last election.**

Put out some ads prior to the voter registration cutoff and then again election day. Then hype the hell out of the winner.

Americans have mixed feelings and uneven commitment to voting. But they fucking LOVE a lottery, especially where it costs nothing to win. It would be covered by every news outlet.

Of course, it would probably get a lot of legal pushback, too, but it would drive up voter participation by a LOT.

This should disqualify him from even being able to run again. Trump and his minions have put a spotlight on the need to address situations like this in the constitution. The founding fathers didn’t realize that there needed to be laws in place to protect from the corruption of all three government branches at the same time. It’s clear we can no longer assume *anyone* has the best interests of the country in mind when elected or appointed to positions of power.

This is how Republicans win. While various Progressives wage war against their own over the most perfect candidate Republicans are fixing to ensure votes won’t get cast regardless. Voter suppression it the whole game. Not how we talk to rust belt factory workers.

“According to federal court records, 300,000 registered voters, 9 percent of the electorate, lacked strict forms of voter ID in Wisconsin. A new study by Priorities USA, shared exclusively with The Nation, shows that strict voter-ID laws, in Wisconsin and other states, led to a significant reduction in voter turnout in 2016, with a disproportionate impact on African-American and Democratic-leaning voters. Wisconsin’s voter-ID law reduced turnout by 200,000 votes, according to the new analysis. Donald Trump won the state by only 22,748 votes.”

” More than 80 voting machines in Detroit malfunctioned on Election Day, officials say, resulting in ballot discrepancies in 59% of precincts that raise questions about the reliability of future election results in a city dominated by Democratic and minority voters.”

It sounds like his truck overheated and caused a fire, not like he did it on purpose.

Made a ring of fire.

Your boss is lucky to have you as an employee and I’m glad everything worked out for you.

You have a good boss who understand and values you. Glad it all worked out and happy holidays!

I got a university degree in physics and I’m working as a software developer for over 5 years. I’ve been with my current company for more than 2 years but I haven’t seen any kind of pay raise. I’m making 55k a year Canadian (About 42k USD) which is well below the standard rates for that position where I live. However I have super bad anxiety and I have no idea how to even begin to ask for a raise. I also don’t feel like my performance in the last year has been as good as it could have been. I am 30 if that makes a difference. Do you have any advice?

Congrats! I ended up quitting my job where I wasn’t going anywhere, career and pay, and doubled my income in 6 months. I’m still underpaid for my position but I’m relatively new at it so I’m thinking in about a year I start looking again.

> a young, small company, and in that five years, he has gone through a rough divorce, and his daughter fought and beat Leukemia. It’s tough to demand annual reviews and pay raises when your boss is sleeping in a chair in a hospital next to his five year old. Not making an excuse for him, but more an excuse for why I didn’t do something sooner.

I have a very amazing, but forgetful boss. She was my supervisor at another company (and she was only 29 years old), and came to me and said she wants to leave and start her own company doing the work we did there.. and asked me to come with her.

Having never owned a company before, and being pretty forgetful as a human in general, I made it 2 years in doing a LOT of work and only taking home $26k after you accounted for taxes and out-of-pocket health insurance (she had been paying me like $42k?). Like you, I went to her one day and laid it all out. She hadn’t even realized what I was still being paid. She gave me a $15k raise, took on my entire health insurance, and I got a 5% COL raise a year later (and expect to continue getting 3%-5% each year).

It is easy to be upset and feel like you need to go in guns blazing, but some people are truly just so occupied with other shit that 2 years have passed and they haven’t sat down and assessed their employees. It by no means excuses that – it should be a priority. But if they are able and willing to rectify it, it isn’t worth packing up and leaving for me personally.

‘Missing’ jail video from first Jeffrey Epstein suicide attempt has been found, prosecutors tell judge

With today’s technology, this tape might well as be reel 4 of the Lord of the Rings, or some other green screen epic.
I want it authenticated by unbiased and neutral experts, to see if tampering has occured.
It has taken too long to appear to be taken at face value.

I bet the file is called

Oddly, there seems to be an 18 1/2 minute gap in the middle.

There is literally not a single aspect of any of this Epstein business that seems even remotely on the up and up.

We just can’t corroborate any of it, because the other video from outside in the corridor has gone missing. Handy that.

The bus ride to and from school field trips are usually more fun than the actual field trip

Being away from school during a school day was the best part.

I remember my school went to Catalina island for a week in seventh grade. We were dropped off at the airport, then flew to LA, took a bus, then a boat. I had a blast on the way there, I played BS with friends, on the plane, chatted about various topics, etc. the funny this is… I didn’t like the actual trip… I liked going to Catalina better than Catalina.

Until one kid pukes.

The only field trip I attended with my daughter resulted in a kid puking in the seat next to ours. The teacher was also a sympathetic puker and couldn’t handle it. I worked in EMS so it was just an unpaid work event.

Based on what the other humans are saying here, I think I might make a business or something dedicated to making really long bus trips and make the buses somewhat live-able and doing the occasional pit stops like field trips and whatnot. Essentially the purpose of The World cruise ship except for habitable buses instead. Now how am I going to be able to make this a thing…? 🧐

I think his body is the pitcher & the Kool Aid is is soul.

That being said, we should mob him, totally drink his Kool Aid soul & see if he’s still alive. You know, for science sake.

Are you your body?

Or are you a brain piloting a body around?

There was a commercial where he wakes up clear, picks out a color/flavor packet as if it were a T-shirt, pours it in, and gets on one of those old school vibrating exercise machines to mix the color in.

So he’s a pitcher of water and the Kool-Aid is his shirt.

Always the pitcher, never the catcher. No wonder he is so happy.

LPT: If you have a goal, don’t tell people about it.

Especially if your goal involves dieting. In my experience people haaaaaaate hearing about other people’s diets.

And especially don’t tell people:

* You’re working on an app
* You’re a writer

They will:

* Tell you about their genius app ideas every fucking day
* Ask you every fucking day how your book/script is doing

Or do tell other people so they hold you accountable

Others can encourage and motivate you in achieving this goal you have. If they don’t, then they weren’t appropriate to tell. Sometimes, it’s perseverance through multitudes. I guess overall it depends on your support system. If you have great family, friends that are receptive to your ideas in general, then they can be a great source of inspiration and help. But if not, best to either keep quiet or look elsewhere.

Yeah, I was gonna mention accountability on this. I’d tell everyone so the fear of failure is so strong! Doesn’t matter if you do fail as long as you try.
