Well, doesn’t that mean they *are* good? If I can’t tell, and AI can’t tell, what metric are we using to define “good”? I guess I should read the article before I just start commenting all willy-nilly, lol…

Hollywood is fully capable of doing extremely convincing deepfakes, they literally do it all the time in movies. Just throw enough money and resources at it and it can be done.


Why did they use the most uncannily, obviously fake-looking human to illustrate this?? Not saying it wasn’t a good fit, those eyes are just giving me the heebies.


I fully expect to see a huge political deepfake in the next few months, possibly the week of the election if not the day before.
