Big surprise. Cleaners are often neglected when it comes to PPE.

This may not mean they are catching the illness through work. E.g. lower income workers often live in larger, multigenerational households. Their infection rates have typically been higher, regardless of whether they are hospital cleaners.

Any chance you could hide that image behind a nsfw tag? Bloated eyes, yeesh.

Not surprising. According to a person that I know that does custodial work in a nursing home: all the staff get proper PPE….except the housekeepers, who rely on cloth masks alone. Also can spend relatively long periods in a patient room.

Most ICUs are near empty during this epidemic. My Wife is aN RN and never been less busy in 3 decades.
