You are very welcome! If I can learn to cook, so can you! My mom even said the other day, “I don’t know where you got this whole cooking thing, but it wasn’t from me.”

I was in the same camp as you from the beginning of my youngest memories. I’m 66yrs. old and came through a lot. I’m so happy you’re succeeding. Considering what what you have been through, learning to cook and master other life skills aren’t going to defeat you. Don’t let the darkness of your past over shadow the brilliance of your future. There are good people everywhere, don’t hesitate you ask for help.😊😊😊

If you’re brave enough (and resilient enough) to open up to others, you’ll see that there’s an overwhelming amount of people that sincerely send goodness your way and enjoy connecting with you. There’s always gonna be aholes and maybe you’ve known more than your fair share. Some people just come into our lives to teach us exactly what not to do. Never get stuck on that, it’s not meant for you. Guard your peace like a treasure and keep doing you, chief! 🙂

This is currently my favourite subreddit! I’ve been nauseous from pregnancy and these ideas have gotten me back into the kitchen. So great, glad you’re feeling it too.

With m everything, you learn and it might take a bit of time, but not too much time. Also, As much as your parents didn’t teach you certain things, maybe they were preoccupied with other things, or maybe no one taught them? Regardless, Jesus loves you and your parents very much. God bless 🙂
