Who will be surprised when this investigation finds multiple GOP senators and reps in connection to, receiving funds from, and knowing about this scheme? I wont Edit: thanks for blowing this comment up 🙂

*This* is the people the IRS, SEC, and FEC should be focusing on. Not people making <$200k per year because they’re easy targets. Average people can’t run complicated tax fraud schemes because they don’t have the assets to hide nor the access to the places to hide such assets. But, the IRS & DOJ have to invest a lot of effort to uncover this kind of crime, so they don’t (especially when the IRS has been under attack for “politically motivated witch hunts”).

wsj: > Mr. Brockman has pleaded not guilty to 39 criminal counts, including tax evasion, wire fraud, money laundering and evidence destruction. He and his attorneys didn’t respond to requests for comment. – no wonder they’re silent. i sure hope teddie cruz gets wrapped up in this mess

>The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that Brockman and his legal team are claiming that the 79-year-old billionaire can’t be tried because he is suffering from dementia and is unable to take part in his own defense. Trump’s already asking his legal team if he can do this, too.

>Department of Justice officials said at the time that the businessman had hidden capital gains income for over 20 years through various offshore entities in Bermuda and Nevis and secret bank accounts.  I work in international private wealth, and yeah you really aren’t supposed to do shit like this. His goose is cooked.
