I remember playing a Civilization scenario back in the day where the scene was North America with natives. There was a mechanic where you could domesticate mammoths but couldn’t build them after a certain year, because of extinction. The mammoth riders were the most OP units of the game for their age, so I’d spam them in the early game and steamroll over all other civilizations.
