Before anyone says “become an independent contractor so you can write off rent and utilities”, let’s consider giving people health care and federal pensions first.

Why would you get a tax break for working from home? Sure your electricity bill might go up, but you’re also saving on transportation costs. Common guys, this doesn’t even make sense and isn’t worth complaining about.
