Driving is scary when being awake for 36 hours, I can tell you that.

I remember when our twins were babies and took turns waking up. Didn’t sleep for about 60 hours once and drove to the supermarket to get nappies etc. I saw white ping pong balls all over the road and wondered who would dump them there. Then I realised I should NOT have been driving. Scary.

I’m reading all of these comments and…holy christ… Sleep is important, it makes sure your brain is tethered to the world and not off seeing ping pong balls where ping pong balls shouldn’t be. Get your shut eye, all other factors are thrown out the window once you start seeing things

In Canada, if you admit to not having slept a certain amount to a police officer, you can get a DUI for it.
