He probably would have made $500,000 to $1,000,000 from that video, seeing as the average cpm for YouTube in general is $2, which is $2 per 1000 views. For those wondering, he did it on purpose because he was not interested in selling his music and had a strong aversion to ads.


That song had stayed with me. It was once appliccable and stuck. Sometimes history repeats. But I guess it kinda sucks for him too.
