I was in an art class in highschool with a substitute reading the roll call. My classmate said Word instead of Here. She got super pissed, ranting about how disrespectful it was. I really could not understand it, I told her it literally is just a word. Is there some joke Im not clued in on?

That’s so bizarre. I remember when the episode originally aired, they literally showed footage of *NSYNC recording their lines and when Timberlake recorded the “Word!” dialogue he even said “that sounds like something I would say!”
