The year is 2030 and the head line reads “New COVID variants could lead to our 30th outbreak”

>Just 16.3% of the US population has been vaccinated against Covid-19, or roughly 54 million people according to data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Just? I find that pretty much amazing given that vaccinations only started sometime in December.

I just wish people stopped acting like the death rate is the only important factor. I know people in their 30’s who survived it but can’t walk up a flight of stairs without taking a break. The damage this thing can do to lungs is straight up scary.
