I traveled around Europe for a while with a friend who had lost a lot of weight. She had trouble getting through customs everywhere, but when we went to Morocco, it didn’t look like they were going to let her leave. I thought we were going to miss her flight. They had at least 5 people comparing her to her passport photo. The first thing she did when she got back home was get a new passport.

Okay. Jaw surgery and a nose job, I understand. (I had double jaw surgery myself in 2016 to correct my underbite). But how the fuck did they make her eyes bigger???

This happened to me when I visited China and I was trying to go back to Korea. My passport photo was super unflattering and I was about 30 lbs heavier when the picture was taken. I had several people stop me and question why I looked different in my passport before I was allowed to go to the gate
