This is exactly why ISIS and the likes were/are so powerful. Only western born kids are likely to fly under the radar. Now, there’s no crime that the parents committed. Sure if they abused him, they’re fucked but the radicalization is just education to them. Rip to the guy’s childhood but he’s got absolutely no chance of convicting his parents unless there was abuse. If anything maybe his siblings will be radicalized next. Sucks

I do think it’s the right thing to do but I feel like he won’t have a case here. I feel bad for anyone who grew up being radicalized with religion

Oh my. Heads will roll. Probably literally. Has anyone in any country successfully sued their parents for childhood indoctrination? That would be a wonderful precedent to set. One would have to do some exquisitely refined judge shopping at the very least.

>The former radical, whom The Mail on Sunday is not naming, also claims to have suffered physical and mental abuse at the hands of his parents.  As a Brit I hope this guy wins, but realistically I suspect he won’t (unless he can prove the physical abuse), will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I’m hoping that this gets a lot of attention
