The fact that it’s religious shouldnt matter a bit. They didn’t ban them bc they were religious, they banned all gatherings of more than 10 people bc of Covid. Why should religious ones be exempt from the law?

I can’t help but notice that none of the 4200 gods people currently believe in have been the slightest bit helpful during the pandemic. It’s as though they are imaginary!!

I can hear my southern US living family right now rejoicing in how they are so happy they don’t live in a communist country where “mah freedums” aren’t imposed upon, even at the cost of other people’s lives.

the real issue is, why are people continuing to gather in large numbers KNOWING they can still get sick, or get others sick with corona?

I’m in HO Chi Minh City right now. People are taking this seriously here. I’ve been in self imposed quarantine for a week now. The local government will lockdown and quarantine individual apartment buildings for 3 weeks, provide food as well as testing. They are highly organized, efficient, and capable of fighting this. I am confident that the health ministery and the people here will beat this. I’m an expat, these are just my observations.
