Literally just put my notice in today to accept a new job elsewhere paying 4 grand more. My current manager REALLY didn’t want me to go and started promising all sorts that hadn’t materialised over the past year and half.

Source on this? I’ve only seen/heard of fast food places be short on workers. (US)

I was looking for a job in November/December. I knew I wouldn’t have a job in January and couldn’t find anything… I accidentally left my resume up on those job boards and I have now been contacted by 3 companies looking to interview/hire me for positions that I thought I wouldn’t be qualified for.

Where do you live that these imaginary jobs are just open?
