This gives me a nostalgia hardon. I got ARRESTED at my forced prayer public high school 20 years ago for reading Subgenius literature. Oh, for those simpler times…

Praise Bob! Hail Eris!

Quit your job for Bob! I went to see Robert Anton Wilson (Illuminatus Trilogy) speak back in the 90s. After he finished it broke out into a devival meeting of the SubGenius. It was funny at first, but my friend and I left when a guy got up on stage to pee in a cup and drink it. But I think that had more to do with being drunk than anything else.

I always preferred Church of the SubGenius to the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

J.R. “Bob” Dobbs saved my soul. Seriously. I would have ended up some humorless alt-white fundamentalist Christian nutjob if it weren’t for the Stark Fist of Removal beating the Jesus freak out of me and helping me to pull the wool over my own eyes instead of letting TV preachers do it for me. I was there on X-Day and hope I can spot myself in those crowd shots. Praise “Bob”!
