In the largest study of its kind, an investigation has found no evidence that moderate coffee consumption can cause cardiac arrhythmia. In fact, each additional daily cup of coffee consumed among several hundred thousand individuals was associated with a 3% lower risk of any arrhythmia occurring.

I really would like to know how they went about measuring this. I (42M) can reliably trigger arrhythmia with 3-4 cups of coffee in a single day and so can my father (80M) We both fixed a medically diagnosed arrhythmia by lowering our daily caffein intake.


Extremely unpopular opinion… reducing my coffee intake has helped me tremendously. I sleep better, so I get up earlier to work out (up at 5 every morning, in bed by 9/9:30). I decided on a whim to go a couple mornings without and it and instantly felt better. I limit myself to one cup on Saturday mornings, makes that one cup all that much better.
