Prophylactically giving feed animals antibiotics was/is the worst mistake mankind could make. It will come back to kill us.

“Animal health companies” Nice try, meat industry.

Giving bazillions of animals “preventative” antibiotics is insane, and is literally one of the most potent ways to develop anti-biotic resistance that a person could dream up.

“But my profits though…” Expecting these companies to regulate themselves is like waiting for coal mines to introduce safety standards for miners. This is government failure on a global scale, but who in their right mind would give up that sweet pocket money for his third yacht when so little hangs in the balance.

“Animal health” is the most Orwellian language possible to describe the sector that systematically imprisons, rapes, maims, mutilates, tortures and murders animals by the billions.
