Old Fridge

A guy bought a new fridge for his house. To get rid of his old fridge, he put it in his front yard and hung a sign on it saying, “Free to good home—you want it you take it.” For three days, the fridge sat there without even one person looking twice at it. He eventually decided that people were rather skeptical about such a good deal, so he changed the sign to read, “Fridge for sale, $50.” The next day, someone stole it.

It’s a very thin line between some jokes and reality. Good joke and beliveable.

This was my dad’s take on getting rid of stuff. Never put it out for free. Always put at least $10 in it so someone will take it.

Ha! I’m reminded of a real-life event. A dude had a free chest freezer and had taken a full sheet of plywood and painted ‘free for the taking’ on it. So, we took the plywood.

Yup, percieved value. If it’s worth nothing to you, it’s worth nothing to them.

This is reality. On the flip side if you have a product you’re trying to sell for money and no is making any offers, try increasing the price. My dad’s friend sold his camper trailer this way.
