My wife and I have been in the first house we purchased 24 years ago. It’s a good house, never had major issues with it. Location is ok. It’s been paid for for a about 5 years now. Sometimes we think about moving but it just sounds like a lot of work. We’ll probably just keep this place and spend more and more time traveling and less time actually living here.


No. The entire idea of “starter homes” is nonsense pushed by people who profit from housing turnover. Staying put is financially advantageous – no transaction fees.
