What was the month over month rise? Why do we keep comparing prices to a year ago when there was barely a functional economy? Year over year doesn’t really seem like a meaningful comparison in the context of a global pandemic.

This may be a dumb question but with the inflation increase, shouldn’t corporations adjust their salary of employees because of the higher prices of food, housing, gas, etc. ?

Hmm what happened in 08 and why was inflation so high. I remember similar doom mongering then. Then a persistently low inflation and shit growth for 13 years.
