Just like with a project where I leave a 10% contingency cushion, I do the same with my calendar. If you think a meeting is going to be an hour, assume an hour and a quarter Solid tip, learned it the hard way.


People ask me how I’m always on time. My answer: “I never overbook myself. I’m not a machine.”

I used to tell my bosses this shit every day and they never listened and then would pull their hair out when the inevitable happened. I would never sweat it. Just give them that “I told you so look” and clock out on time
