Why isn’t this law copied in every state? Listing one wage then paying a lower wage is such a scum move.


Stated salaries can be misleading. In tech, it’s common for base salary to cap out @ ~$200k, and for a major part of total comp to come from equity. All of that you only hammer down at offer negotiation time, but you can check levels.fyi to get an idea of what’s out there for a given level.


I was wondering why a job postings read yesterday said something about Colorado and it’s wage range. Thought it was strange.
