LPT: Once you are older than 25, reassess what “morals/truths” you learned growing up. Most parents just repeat cycles of abuse/ignorance; it takes a critical mindset to break/change these cycles.

Why 25? You should be assessing the shit people try to teach you as early as possible, and that should be younger than 25.

“Never talk about problems in the family/ at home” was a big one for me. I hate asking for help and I’m sure it all drew back from that.

By the time people turn 25, they are usually reassessing the beliefs they adopted as teenagers when rebelling against their parents.
