LPT- if you’re packing up a slice of cake in a piece of Tupperware, flip the container over and place the cake on the lid and use the container as the lid so it works like a cake display. Makes it easier to serve the cake later.

Huh, an actually clever and useful lifeprotip. Inconceivable!


I’ve done this a few times. For the love of God hold it on the bottom with one hand and another hand on the top, not on the side of the box even if your fingers are over the lid, cakes are heavier than you think and I’ve seen plenty of cake lids rip open and the cake to fall out. Either hold it properly or tape it up.


Why would I do that if I’m going to be eating it out of the container?


Wait, there are parties where people don’t eat all of the cake?
